This is a really nice part of the world. We were lucky we were outside peak times as it was relaxing and quiet. The pizza was great. Some of the ablutions were run down and needed a good clean with exit mould.
The best place for camping or staying in cabins. Awesome self contained cabins fully air conditioned. Great staff. Always friendly. Even have chopper rides from the beach to the tip.
I have visited on several occasions only to find that are expensive and low value for money. The kitchen offers low grade and poor quality products - pasta hot chips and wood fired Pizza's. The pizzas are the best thing they have going but extremely overpriced for a thin biscuit like pizza that always seems to lack flavour and volume. Staff will happily turn away customers who don't meet the precise 7:30pm cut off time for food orders. A much better alternative would be Siesia camping ground or Loyalty Beach which offers much better service and better quality food and more fairly priced.
Giving 4 star only because we didn't actually stay, so not sure about the camping part, but took a helicopter ride from there which was amazing. Definitely worth it for a different view of the Tip. Also had the wood fire pizza. Not bad at all.
Location, location, location!! Basic amenities but why would you stay anywhere else on the tip. Corrugation bar and food was excellent, so was staff.
